i) Platform Navigation Guide

1. Accessing the Course

  • Visit the course platform(E-Learning/LMS) homepage or programs and log in using your registered email and password.

  • Go to the “My Courses” tab on the top navigation bar.

  • Select “your course” to enter the course dashboard.

2. Course Dashboard Overview

  • Overview Tab: Displays course announcements, weekly objectives, and instructor updates.

  • Modules Tab: Organized weekly content including lectures, readings, and assignments.

  • Assignments: Upload and manage submissions.

  • Discussions: Participate in weekly prompts and interact with peers.

  • Grades: Check feedback, scores, and progress.

3. Navigating Lessons and Materials

  • Click on each week/module to open lessons.

  • Watch videos inline or in fullscreen mode.

  • Download supplementary materials like PDFs and templates.

4. Using Communication Tools

  • Access instructor messages through the “Inbox” feature.

  • Use the “Discussion” board to post queries or collaborate with peers.

ii) Technical User Guide

1. System Requirements

  • Supported Browsers: Latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.

  • Internet Speed: Minimum of 5 Mbps for smooth video playback.

  • Hardware: Desktop/laptop (preferred), tablet, or mobile device.

2. Common Technical Issues & Fixes

  • Login Issues: Click “Forgot Password” to reset credentials.

  • Video Playback Errors: Clear browser cache, disable browser extensions, and ensure JavaScript is enabled.

  • File Upload Errors: Confirm file format (PDF, DOCX) and keep size under 10MB.

3. Using Course Tools

  • Download and install spreadsheet software like Excel or use Google Sheets for assignments.

  • Use built-in PDF readers to access reading materials.

  • Use Zoom or the integrated webinar tool for live sessions.

iii) Learner Activity Completion Guide

1. Tracking Course Progress

  • Use the progress bar on the dashboard to view completed modules.

  • Each activity will be marked with a checkmark upon completion.

  • Review the “Grades” tab for a summary of completed tasks.

2. Weekly Task Checklist

  • Watch all lecture videos and complete assigned readings.

  • Participate in at least one discussion post and respond to peers.

  • Submit any weekly assignments or quizzes by the posted deadline.

3. Assignment Submission

  • Navigate to the “Assignments” tab.

  • Click the relevant task, upload your file, and click “Submit.”

  • Review confirmation message to ensure upload success.

4. Capstone Project Completion

  • Start early on the capstone 

  • Follow project guidelines provided in the module.

  • Submit the final project before deadline for evaluation.

5. Earning the Certificate

  • Complete all modules and required assignments.

  • Pass all quizzes and the final project.

  • Download your digital certificate from the “Achievements” or “Certificates” tab.
